Boo!

I’ve been looking for a way to contact the creators of this space and wound up here. Just beginning to create a profile for myself and am distressed to run accross the term “pimp it up” on your site in some instructions on getting set up.

I vehemently object to the “gentrification” of terms that have more than implied oppression of women. The term “pimp” is not cool, not hip and does not belong on this website.

thank you for your concern. i'm the guilty one. i wrote those HOW TOs way way back when Zaadz was just a small community and most members know the humor intended behind those posts. it's all about the intention of using the language. there was no malice involved. most people know that it's an allusion to the pop culture phenomenon Pimp My Ride. a good show i might add.

having said that, i'll take your opinion into consideration and take it easy on the pop culture talk moving forward.

no need to be disappointed :)

L'ei, indeed that would be amusing, but a step back in my opinion. There was a lot more white space just when we started out, but sadly, no videos, goals, no global site search, no comprehensive Zaadzsters search (I think it was only by name and location), no newsletters, and fewer beautiful faces :) Let us know if you are having problems with anything on the site, new features, etc. We really do live to serve.

Hehehe. Jessica? I think L'el was just laughing at those who've objected to our changes; it's thanks to the fact that we keep adding new things that the site is what it is, and if we didn't change anything, we'd be, well, pretty boring. ;) At least I'm guessing that was her point.

I don't mean to be starting fires, but from one feminist to (apparently) another, Janet, don't you think that's a little…oh, I dunno, overtly sensitive? “Pimp” is used by the younger ranks for a lot of different things now, and yeah, people toss around words lightly these days, but there's no need to be upset about it when you know this website would never state anything degrading to anybody intentionally.

Otherwise, yeah, nice costume. :)

How does the Gaia site work? Do we sign in in Zaadz, then head over to Gaia and participate?

Christine, currently, the Gaia(Beta) site aggregates content from the Gaiam community, Lime, and Zaadz. so Gaia(Beta) acts like a portal. no need to sign in to Zaadz to access the content. but if you want to participate (e.g. your content included with the aggregation), you need to sign in to Zaadz and then post your content here :)

I had trouble with the circles reacting, though I finally did get them to.  A little clunky and I'm on satellite.  Also, I tried to join a spirituality pod but it just took me to the purple screen and the circles and I couldn't figure out how to get in.  Oh well, no big deal.  I have more pods than time anyway…

So pretty. :)

Thanks for the positive comments on the GAIA Beta site. We have been working hard over the past couple of months on this and very excited about the potential it has and what is coming in the near future to the site. I am hoping that the upcoming features will be well received by the rest of the community.
Oh yeah, in addition to Zaadz, Gaiam Community and Lime, there are articles in GAIA.com from the 5 magazines of Conscious Enlightenment.

Great! I think its time for a World Renaissance.

Peace comes within the souls of men, when they realize their oneness with the Universe, when they realize it is really everywhere… it is within each one of us.

It is refreshing and perfectly positioned for all to do their marketing through and with.

Very magical.

I just took a brief tour of Gaia, looks awesome with every shade of conscious channel that needs to flower in harmony and found some cool articles too! The shade is a little too purple or pink for me, maybe a touch of indigo, coral with orange yellow limegreen streak may lighten up the entry.

Janet I also stumbled  once on that 'P' expression and was puzzled! ~C thanks for your explanation and humble admission.  I feel PC world would do much better with less low vibration words, especially when our mission is to empower and inspire!
